Hi everyone. We just bought our new G23 a couple of months ago and right away I noticed the bow of the boat and the bow stop roller were not lining up when loading the boat on the trailer. At first, I thought I might not have lined it up good when I put it on the trailer. I decided to try it a few more times and it's always the same result. I have checked the alignment of the stern and back of trailer; everything is fine back there. I've been trailering boats for many years and I've never had an alignment problem at the bow like this before. It is so far out of alignment that the winch roller edge is cutting the winch strap while driving down the road. I'm thinking it's an issue with the trailer, either the winch stand is out of alignment or one of the bunks was improperly installed.
It's a Boatmate trailer and I've had 3 previously; all were great trailers. I checked the trailer before we bought it to make sure it was a new one and it was for a G23; some manufacturers will try to sell you a new boat with a trailer that's a couple of years old (I speak from experience). It's still under warranty so hopefully my dealer will fix whatever the problem is; I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same or similar issue and, if so, what was done to fix it. Thanks for any feedback!
