I just bought a 2006 Nautique 206 this year. I'm in the NE and the boat came from FL. It ran flawless all summer and has 500 hours. I'm winterizing and when I pulled the spark arrestor I found some pretty good corrosion inside the throttle body. It has not seemed to affect performance, but I think that I should clean it up.
My question is what is the best way to take this off? I see that I can take the whole unit off, but it looks like I would have to get the injection rail off too. An easier approach looks like to separate the throttle body because it is in two pieces, then I can leave the rail and part of the body alone. There is probably a gasket there though.
Any sugestions?
