Windshield glass supplier?

The right half of the windshield on my 04 sn196 shattered today while trailering. Seems like they're hard to find. Where can I get new glass?

Is this common? What did I do wrong? I've had boats for 20 years and never seen this before.

I dont know if they make new old stock parts, or how that works. I also looked on Nautiqueparts and they dont have one in stock, but this one: http://www.nautiqueparts.com/windshi...lackframe.aspx was VERY expensive!! I am sure insurance covers something like this?

Looks like both halves to me, not just the right.

This happened to a 210 I had back in 04. You'll be finding glass in that boat for years. I was able to find the glass through White Lake, but that was ten years ago.

Taylor needs the part number. Anyone know where I can get that? I've asked Nautique online.

it is just the right side, that picture just shows a lot of the glass shard mess.

For future reference, CC part number is 2308 for the entire windshield. Glass only part number from Taylor is 1902344.

For what it's worth, I recently ordered a replacement walk through windshield for my 220 from Taylor Made. I couldn't be happier with the service, and they shipped it to me faster than anticipated. They also provided weather stripping at a very reasonable cost.

I had a trailer jack fail on my old 90 Sport. The trailer and boat fell on the spare tire. The shock was enough to break one of my windshields. The cause was an exposed screw tip holding the frame together. Something to check!
