Hi everyone, thank you in advance for your help. My name is Kasey, new to me nautique owner and have been reading around on this site for a couple months now. The boat I purchased has been rebuilt and I think some of the wiring integrity has been lost. This is a picture of the old solenoid relay as it was wired when I got the boat. I just installed a new one with the wiring the same way, the only difference being that I used two bolts to secure the relay back to the plate when reinstalling it. From the little I have been able to find on wiring these, this to me doesnt look right, however I have not found a for sure correct wiring diagram anywhere on this site. Im hoping this thread can be an end all to this problem for me and anyone else going through the same thing...

If anyone has the factory wiring diagram or a picture of their boats wiring done absolutely correct, it would be much appreciated, thanks again in advance for all the help!!

    Kasey

It would help if we knew something about the boat. You know, year, make, model, what engine?

Looks very strange. Is that a red and black wire from the battery going to the same terminal?

Very good point DanielC, sorry I thought for some reason the year make and model of boat showed in every post like some others do on here. It is a 2000 pro air nautique with the boss gt40 engine, not sure if I need to specify fuel injected for this year but mine is. Thank you for your help, I can see youve been around these boats for quite some time now!

jhersey29, I am not sure but if I remember correctly the person I bought the boat from said that the black wire was supposed to be red but he used black when putting the engine back in because thats what he had available. I will double check tomorrow to see where it leads. Again my boat is a 2000 pro air with the boss gt40 efi engine. Thank you for any help you may be able to give!
