Steering cable for 93 Sport

Will a standard Teleflex steering cable work? Looks like a 20' cable, part number 12420 would be needed. Or does a Correct Craft part need to be used.

"12420" does not seem correct. In any event, make sure you get the cable with the "rack" for the rack and pinion systems as this is what your boat has installed. I would think the part number would be something like SSC13020.

In any event, I have heard that the proper cable is a CC dealer item only, but have not confirmed this. Let us know what you ultimately find out, as I will want to do the same sometime in the future.

For the rack system you should be able to use a Teleflex cable SC 124XX where XX is the length of the cable.
