Using aqua tread flooring....

Redoing the whole interior of my 97 cb bubble butt. As mentioned above I'm going to use the brown teak with black stripe aqua tread flooring. Is there such a thing as carpet or flooring templates that exist? Just thinking of helping out my interior guy with something versus doing it all from scratch.

Did a search and I've pm'd a fella that did seadek on his. Looked great. Just looking for any direction you all may be able to give. Thanks.

You do understand that you'll need to remove the carpet, have the entire floor gelcoated (quite pricy unless you do it yourself) or use some other method of getting a uniform surface, and then install the flooring, correct?

There is a thread where someone did this with SeaDek on a pre-2007 210, I believe. Let me see if I can dig up the thread.

Saw that thread. Really nice looking finished product.

Do you think the gel coat on the floor is necessary? It does need to be uniform like you said, but was thinking it would be solid enough patching imperfections and then gluing. Will find out when I get into the boat I guess.

The edges will show. So unless you are cool with looking at the unfinished fiberglass you'll need to at least finish those areas.

I am not familiar with the Aqua Tread product, but with SeaDek, the product is peel and stick, and will not stick to bare fiberglass.
