2006 PCM 330 remote oil filter leaking

I have a leak from the oil filter lines(one much worse than the other) that run into the remote filter housing.(it is definitely not the filter leaking).

I have replaced the Orings and even changed Oring sizes as a last resort, but cannot stop this leak. I cannot visually see any cracks in pipe or remote filter casting. It appears the oil is bypassing the oring and coming through between the stainless pipe and the large brass nut

I have found an old thread saying there was possibly issues with these, but not much information overall. Has anyone got/had a similar problem and found a solution, or do i just start by ordering a new filter housing, and then both oil hoses if it doesn't stop.

Are you sure it's not the filter leaking?? It is quite common for the old filter o-ring to remain when doing a filter change which will cause a leak.

I noticed a small leak on my 03 330 remote oil lines. It was odd to me since they leaked at the top of the oil filter mount. I'm suspecting one of the hose crimps is going bad (where the metal fitting is pressed on to the line). All summer, no oil; only noticed it last spring when I was getting the boat ready for the season. I'll watch it again this spring.

I know crimps go bad on AC lines on cars frequently and then the freon starts to leak from them. Ask me how I know...
