    Electrolysis for rust removal

After way too much time on scrubbing parts this last week. I did some research and found a very easy way to remove rust from my torn apart GT40. It works great. I'm doing it outside to prevent blowing up the house. Also remember no stainless steel so double check any boat parts. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=54ADeB6V1rQ

I have done this on car parts. It usually takes longer than two hours.
The derusted parts will want to rust again right away. Dry them off ASAP.

It is amazing. Light rust 2 hours. Deep rust overnight seems good so 8 hours. I'll post picks tomorrow

After - the bolt was hard to turn but it did. I scrubbed it some and put it back in for a bit longer to clean up the area under the remaines of the water hose.
