Oil Pressure Gauge on SV-211 Intermittent

My oil pressure gauge on 2005 SV-211 only begins to work after the engine gets warm. I did notice that the other night that the navigation light doesn't work either until the gauge works. Could it be bad ground? Checked behind gauge for loose wire, but all is well there.

RE: Oil Pressure Gauge on SV-211 Intermittent

I have an 05 SV211 that has had an intermittent Oil Pressure guage and intermittent Fuel guage and one time the voltage guage also quit. Mine didn't seem to be due to warm up, but it did start working after a couple minutes. The dealer simply said they would replace the guages next time I bring it in.. my concern is that it isn't the guage but rather the wiring, grounding, sensors, etc. etc.? Sorry I have no answers, but wanted to add my concern to this post also!

jeffsv211 it sounds like it more than likly in the faria box in the back of the boat for your problem. Turp do you mean the bow light does not work until the gauge work or do you mean that the gauge does not light up till the gauge starts to function?
