TRANSMISSION OIL

Hey Good evening!
I just read the owner manual of my 2001 SAN,it mentioned need to change 3 kinds of oil,1)engine oil, 2)transmission oil, 3)v-drive oil, where is the transmission oil? I usually change 1 and 3, where is the 2?

The Tranny oil is just behind the rear seat, on the transmission, opposite of the ballast seacock. You have to reach a little bit to get to it.

Thanks for the replys***?, I have no idea where is it,I'll find it when I go next day to my boat, what kind of oil and quantity for it? If possible, can tell me more detail about the location and the cap size,Than You!

The three types of oil needed for mantainance are regular oil for the engine , atf (dextron3/mercon3) for the trans and 30 weight oil for the vdrive. The way to access the trans is to open the rear hatch and look toward the bellhousing and follow it down to the trans and find a looped handle that should be the dipstick for the trans it should be on the starboard side of the trans near the shift cable.

I've changed the trans oil before, but where do you change the v-drive oil? I've never done that...I definitely need to.
