Depth Finder on 2003 Air 206 Limited

OK, here is what happens. Enter the ignition code, start the engine. Push the M button to get to depth finder mode. Set the shallow alarm for 2.8 feet. Make a few runs and stop the motor. Once the engine is restarted, the depth finder has lost the shallow setting. This occurs every time the engine is restarted. The radio is fine and does not loose presets and the hour meter on the Tach is ok...dealer said that CC told them to replace the Gateway box.

    Any one experienced this issue?

    Thanks,

    Dave

Hummingbird (or did Teleflex buy them) had a problem w/ the DF. What I heard & saw were gauges stuck @ 1.5. Seems like hooking up a simple DF would be easier than an entire box; especially if it's only a DF. Think dealer would have DF in stock!?

OF he has the faria set up in that vintage of boat, but i would recomend that the faria box be checked for constant power to it at the red power wire at P2 plug.
