Is it possible to tighten the steering wheel assembly on my 02 super air? When ever I'm pulling a rider up, the steering wheel shakes. I checked the steering wheel and it was pretty tight. I took the steering wheel off and realized its something inside the assembly. I didn't want to take it appart if it is something that can't be corrected. Any help would be appreciated. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about.

Remove the rubber boot, and if you look at the steering assembly,
you'll see a couple of allen head capscrews. (Before removing the wheel, mark it's position on the shaft) Turn the shaft until you can see the fasteners... They may be loose. You'll need a ball-driver type of hex wrench, I think.
They are part of the universal joint on the tilt steering.
If they are tight, then it is probably the tilt mechanism's bearings,
which are nylon bushings. The nylon wears, and the shaft moves up and down and side to side... On the newest tilt mechanisms, this has been replaced by a proper sealed bearing, so, no more wear.
These were available as of 03, from Teleflex.
You can't by replacement parts for helms, only complete assemblies.
You may also want to check out the tiller arm, and steering tube at the stern of the boat, to make sure it is tight there as well... there is a BIG nut
on the tube that holds the steering cable tight to the tube, and if it's loose, the steering has play in it...
