    Perfect Pass - SANTE 2003

I have a problem with my perfect pass:

When the boat is fully loaded the perfect pass is not stable and is very difficult to mantaine the right speed to the rider.

I tried to change the parameter but didn't work,

    anyone had this problem???

    thank you

are you running speed based or rpm based? also when you say parameters, are you referring to nn and kdw?

Do you have a belly ballast? And are you running in Wakeboard mode? If so, have a look at the pick up. If it looks like the same pick ups as the rear tanks and your paddle wheel is directly behind the belly pick up then you have the same problem many 03 SAN owners had. The belly ballast pick up disturbs the water such that the paddle wheel will read erroneously and subsequently PP will hunt.
CC has fixed the problem by putting a flat pick up for the belly tank. They also have a service bulletin regarding this problem.

More than likely, you need to have the flush mount ballast pickup added to your boat. The pickup causes too much turbulence for the paddle wheel on the cruise control just like someone else mentioned above. What are your nn and kdw settings at now?

              Perfect pass Settings

My PP settings are 60 and 120 and I am finding that when in wakeboard mode with all ballast tanks full (2004 SAN - two wedge tanks and one belly tank) the PP seems to "hunt" or fluctuate seriously. A while back the PP would only fluctuate .1/2 and then correct immediately - it was amazing and I fell in love with PP. Now, for some reason it stopped working. The Paddle Wheel was pinched by the two plastic guards on each side of the paddle wheel. When loading on the trailer it jammed it in there. However, I have trimmed them back and the wheel is free - but now PP acts very nervous and it I am having difficulty calibrating it with the analog gauges. Any advice?

                RE: Perfect pass Settings

I have the exact same problem with my perfect pass. Works perfect in RPM mode and not so great in wakeboard mode using the paddlewheel. My belly tank pick up is the same as the read tank pick up's but put in reversed (the scoop faces back!). It isn't directly in front of the perfect pass but I can see how there could be some problems. Is it hard to change out the scoop for a flat one? I'm in the process of updating my ballast system anyway so might as well take care of it now.

                  RE: Perfect pass Settings

actioncpd - just for kicks check one thing. On my paddle wheel there are two guards on each side of the wheel and on mine the trailer bunk pushed one gaurd up into the wheel so it would not spin freely. PP said I could trim the guards off - as long as I accept that it may not work right - well it does. Check that and see if that changes anyting. I also changed my kdw and nn settings to 100 and 180 respectively.

                    Try adjusting your PP settings:
                    I run mine at:
                    KDW: 120
                    NN: 190
