Hey I still haven't figured out what my problem is with the overheating. I did the last check by looking at the risers and their not bad at all so now I'm thinking it may be the computer but on a '97 with 800 hours? My other post is at the very bottom so if anyone knows a way to tell if the computer is bad please chime in. Thanks.

i may not be of any help , but if she running lean she'll get hot. can you check the fuel pressure? ( double check but 55psi seems like a standard #)
take a block drain out and start the motor, water should spray out a pretty solid stream if you rev it up a tad. if not you engine water pump is bad.
do you have a strainer? physicaly removed tranny and engine cooler? has she eaten an impeller at any time. ( skidim has a good punch list for overheating problems)
a new thermostat does not mean it is good. check it on the stove.red right return

Yeah I went down the whole list from skidims website and the water is flowing fine at every point, I'll check the fuel pressure though. I also heard something about an upgrade for the FCC, has anyone had problems with theirs? I think '97 was the first year for them or there abouts but it's got a new everything, filter, impeller, thermostat, temp and oil senders are on there way to being put in. Plenty of water is coming out the exhaust but it's very hot water.1997 SuperSport GT-40
