    General Maintenance

Here is some general guidelines for keeping your Nautique looking and running great:
Oil and Filter Changes: Every 50 hours or every season (whichever comes first)
Trans Flush: Every 100 hours or two seasons (whichever comes first)
Fuel Filter: Roughly every 100 hours or every two seasons (some may disagree with me on this one)
V-drive oil: Every hundred or two seasons (whichever comes first)

My personal tips for maintaining the exterior:
Wipe it down every time when you are finished (sounds crazy but it is easier to maintain in the long haul)
Wax every 1-3 months (during the season)

    Interior:
Wipe it down every time (including in between all cracks where dirt and water can get trapped)
Leave the seats lifted open to dry out
Try to leave the boat open while wet if at all possible
    Vacuum when needed
303 has been really good to use on the seats and dash. It doesn't seem to get slippery. DO NOT get them on the guages though.
rain-x goes well on the windshield
If you let your seats go for awhile and they get dirty, I have really good luck with a product called bypas. The stuff gets everything out with a minimal amount of scrubbing
Haven't found a great windshield cleaner so your guess is as good as mine here

    To maintain the teak:
I powerwash it and let it dry out good. Then I go back with some sandpaper and touch it up.
Put the oil on and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Wipe off the excess with a rag

Hope this helps. If not, please disregard it and/or put your 2 cents here too.

    check impeller
    check strut bushing/ engine alignment.
    clean flame/ spark arrestor.
check intake and exhaust manifold bolt torque.
    check packing.
check rubber hoses for chaffing or soft spots. (water and fuel)
check bulb sockets/wire connections for corrosion. (crc works well)

teak needs to have the grain opened up with 80 grit paper. finer grades fill the grain with dust.
    red right return
