alternator upgrade for pre-2005 boats

I just got the call from WCCC , and they gave me the partnumber for an upgrade kit, (alternator) to go from our 70 amp units to 100 amps. I also spoke directly to PCM, and they agreed that this upgrade would not invalidate your warranty. The orderable part number is RF097009B, and I am going to call Mid-Ohio to see what it is with my 15% discount.

maybe we should make this a group buy. I know my 70amp unit does not like idling with all three bilge pumps running ,and the engine blower. It starts to pull the voltage down.

Jeff/Luke can you negotiate a group deal?

I just recieved the upgrade kit. It includes the following

1. new Bosch 100amp alternator, with pulley(have to check to see if it's the right one)
2. new hot cable to breaker
3. new ground cable
4. Adaptor harness that connects the new alt to the old sense lines. (I think they are the sense lines)

looks like an hour's worth of work. I'll lwt you know sunday.
