91 ski nautique died while skiing ???

Posting for a friend ... Skiing for 40 minutes and with no warning engine died , no power to dashboard. I'm guessing ignition breaker, any other thoughts ? Thanks in advance !

Could be bad alternator. Stops charging, boat runs until battery dies. Put in a new battery and test to confirm (or confirm voltage from battery/alt.) Based on this info, it could be about 10000000000 X 10E^67 things...

I would go after the breaker. If not that it is probably something that is in that chain of wiring.

start from the begining of the power supply (ie battery, batt. connections, electrical connections on engine , dash connections)

Out of gas? hehe.
Then start with checkin the alt. I had that problem.
