Hard to Start

A friend of mind just got a 1982,with the 351 PCM
Runs great while its cool..BUT after about 30 minutes of running.
It has a mis while taking off..and then its hard to start..Any Ideals!!!!!!!!!!1

Sounds like his ignition coil is going bad. $30 outta take care of it.

Nope,,,the guy just replaced the coil,,Dis-cap,,,wires,,,,plugs,,,
rotor button!!!!!!!!!!...And it still runs great when cold..but when its gets warn,,,,a mis out of the hole starts,,,and then when you come down to idle,it will quit,,,and not start...let it set a few minutes and it starts..and runs good again..till warn.........

Does the engine have fire or fuel? You must determine which it is loosing first before you throw parts at the problem.
