    Tsunami pumps...

Has anyone used these to replace the stock pumps? I bought a few and have quickly found how much of a pain it is to find fittings and adapters for these pumps. They have a 1 1/8" thread so pretty much everything is different. How much will they even help if I"m pushing water through 3/4" tubing from a 3/4" thru-hull fitting. I'm guessing some.. but not a ton. Any advice?

    RE: Tsunami pumps...

Unless I am wrong, the ratings on most of the other pumps are 1100 gph and the Tsunami is only 1200. You won't notice a difference. Skylon makes a 2000 gph pump and with it, you will notice improvement. Their fittings should be comparable with the standard as well.

My stock pumps are attwood 750's. The drain pumps are 1100gph rule pumps. I was thinking about replacing the stock fill pumps and using the other pumps to assist in filling/draining a large sac up front.

I have been having trouble with the push-twist connections. They have been hard to even get in.

order the adaptors from skyhigh, they make the 1 1/8 adaptors that screw on the pump. I currently run them on my boat to fill my surf bags, awesome pumps, 1000 pds in about five minutes.
