    Perfect Pass on a 94 SN - throttle ?

    Two things:
ON the power up of a wakeboarder, at about 12 knots, the boats slows about 3 knots and i have to add more power to attemp to keep a consistant power up, till it gets to the set speed. wish i knew how or what to do to eliminate this.

also, i have to hold or provide some additional pressure on the throttle as it will creep back down past the set point and then deactivate the PP. Is there a way to tighten the throttle so it wont creep. would that be in the sender unit of the throttle or on the carburator.

    thanks

There is actually a spring designed into the system that will eventually pull the throttle into neutral if you are not holding the gas down. Mine was taken off of my 93 Sport prior to my buying but a buddy of mine took it off of his 95 Sport. It is a safety feature so you have to decide if you want it or not. It seems like the spring was located on the throttle cable connection but I could be wrong. It might be on the throttle lever. Wish I knew more exactly where it was but hopefully this will give you some general direction.
