    bllast can fill can't empty

recently,my 01 SAN,the factory equiped bllast can fill the tank but can't empty, when the empty button pressed, the green light of the empty button will on, when filling,I can feel the pump motor running, but silent when empty button pressed,so I must carry heavy water back to dock, when put on trailer, the water drops some time to clear, I think the system is fail to output a revere voltage to the pump, any tips on this?

You have two pumps: one to fill and one to empty. Check that the pump to empty is working. It is located at the back of the boat close to the tanks. I had to replace my pump, $20, this summer on my 2000 Air Nautique.

Yes, your 01 has two aerator-style pumps situation inline of each other. One to fill and one to empty. Sounds like the empty pump has failed. Unforunately, they're kinda difficult to access as they're down under the engine on the port side.

Not yet check the pump for empty,I read the owner manual last night, seems the bllast can fill or empty with out the use of pump, My experience is ,the water can fill if open the air vent w/o turn on the pump, but can't empty it on the sea until put on trialer. (drop out)
