When I put my 95 SS in gear, I have to push the throttle arm pretty far forward and back before it goes into gear. I talked with skidim and they said to tighten the nut holding the throttle cable at the back of the morse control. Problem is, there are 2 throttle cables. Do I tighten both cables or just one?

RE: Throttle Adjustment??
No, one throttle and one gear selector cable. Tighten the loose nut or tighten them both.
To perfectly adjust the throttle cable, you must first make sure everything is tight at the throttle control, then put the boat in gear, but at idle speed. Now adjust the linkage at the throttle plate so that you can push the ball joint on (and off) without forcing or moving the throttle plate. This method properly pre-loads the spring at the throttle control.
