Does anyone know how much movement is acceptable at the end of the propshaft. After a prop strike I have measured the propshaft & at the end of the shaft I have 0.010" variation as I rotate it. (196 Ski) There is no variation on the shaft between the hull & p-bracket.

I'm sure there is tolerance spec for this, but I think "excessive vibration" is the real indicator before damage occurs. Besides, the importance of the shaft roundness alone is deminished since you have to consider the rotation when the prop is on. Sorry I'm not being very helpful.
