    Fogging your engine

Just wondering what brand / type of fogging oil everyone uses when winterizing their boats. Spray vs: liquid :?: Brand name :?: Also, who takes their spark plugs out and puts some in each cylinder? Just curious.... Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

I use the pennzoil marine fogging spray. I prefer the spray because is a no-brainer for quantity. I do not put oil in the individual cylinders.

Mercruiser brand spray, and do not spray in each cylinder.

I use penzoil spray. I spray it down the TBI as I am running out of my 50/50 antifreeze mix. Spray it down for about 7sec at this point the motor will bog down, then turn the motor off. I then fog each cylinder, turn the motor over by hand, fog just a bit more, and replace with new spark plugs. If you turn the motor over with the plugs out and use the starter, you are just dumping more gas in the cylinders and just ruined all your efforts.

With the plugs out the cylinders will not generate the suction needed to pull in much air/fuel mix, if any at all.
