We got some of the surface mount LED's for Teddys SAN install to cover up some holes in the interior from the Old MB Quarts seprates the LED's cover up the hole from the old twetter. When we got them I noticed that the size of the light looked like it would fit in the cup holder.

But now that I think back I do remember someone had done this and showed it to me. Was it you? If so thanks for the Idea.

Yeah Grant it was me... we have the LED's in our cupholders. Ours are a little different though, we just drilled one LED into each, instead of a group like you did. I'm sure yours are much brighter... But this is something that is really cool, the colored water really gets people's attention!

Do you mind telling us where you purchased the LED package? Seeing how I'm Maryland, I won't be coming over for the upgrade (although I'd like to)...

                Thanks,

                Dave

We are a Hella dealer. You can try and find them at your local marine supply store. They sell for $29 each they are a bit pricey $. I can ship to you

Mine are just regualr single LED's. You can get them anywhere for pretty cheap. I just got some more for other places at Circuit City 4 for a couple bucks.... but you may want more than one in each cupholder, but personally I like mine...

Wouldn't trying to interface something like this into a cup holder make more sense? Especially on those hot days.

                      Just kicking around ideas.

Bling, I like your led's in the cup holder - maybe in just a couple of holders, like the ones on the driver's dash and passenger dash. What do you think?

                          Also, what colors are available?

PM me with your order info.

So there is this big barge type boat on our lake with a dance floor, stage, bands, bar, and all on it that cruises the lake after dark. It's a tradition to flash the lights 2 times when it goes by. Many people do it from shore to say hello. The captain then flashes back.

Do you have any ideas for the boats that follow the big boat? This year my brother carried a laser light and flashed the girls on the boat - they flashed back their bright lights.

Any ideas on what can be done from a boat to say Hello?
