Perfect Pass not working

I have a 206 06 and the perfecpass simple doesn't work!

This is what hapends:

I have a friend that had a problem in his boat and he was thinking that it was his Black Box (UTC ??) So because our boats are equal we were going to change the Black box, so we turn off our black box (all cable out) and we put it again.... big problem....

The perfect pass doesn't have any power, and the boat also doesn't accelarate because doesn't have any information of the perfecpass.

Also in the Speedometer, it apears new signs: UTC - No SGNL; LOC - No SGNL; SOG No SGNL; LOG NO SGNL...

Do any one know if when we turn of the black box we need some special code for start again the perfect pass? has any kind of procedure??

The new info that you are getting in the gauges are for another company that uses the system and has additional features for their boats. One quick check for your perfect pass is to make sure that you didn't break the paddle wheel on the bottom of the boat. After that, someone else is going to have to try to help you out.

Did you disconnect the box when the engine was keyed up? Possibly you could have spiked the blackbox, or you may have to disconnect the the battery before disconnecting the black box.
