    No voltage. Gt40

    Hi
My 98 SN GT40 doesn't want to start. The motor turns over quickly but not fire. I checked everything and I don't have voltage at the fuel pump.
    Any ideas?
I would like to take the boat to the nearest dealer but here in Spain we only have one and is 300 miles far away.
    Thanks

Check the saftey lanyard(kill Switch)mine was bad this spring and I had the same thing. I jiggled the switch and it started to work. I bypassed the switch afterwards so I wouldn't have any more problems with it. The may also be a relay that you want to check. I think I remember coming across one when I was looking for my problem. Start with the lanyard though.

I can't believe how many people are having trouble with the same thing on here.
      I have heard to check:
      1. The fuse coming from the battery
      2. The kill switch safety laynard.
      3. The fuel pump
      4. The relays.

My problem was the the relay on the left had a bad connection and wasn't giving power to the relay on the right which gives the fuel pump power. If I would wiggle it, it would give the right one power and the pump would kick on.
