Just wondering if anyone has an easy way to remove the ballast senders from an '02 Air? Sounds simple enough, but they are burried under the side/deck of the boat. So, to get them out it seems I'll need to pull the tanks. Which leads to the next question, is there an easy way to pull the ballast tanks? The tanks in our boat wrap around the rear seat....So to get out the tanks the seat, seat supports, gas tank and shower valve all need to be removed. I'm hoping there is some easy way to get the senders out! Thanks!

RE: How to remove ballast senders?
If I can get all the screws out the senders would only pull up a few inches and then hit the underside of the deck. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:
So, the question is, do I have to remove the rear seat, seat supports, fuel tank... to get the balast tanks out?Jeff

RE: How to remove ballast senders?
Air, once u access the b/tank, in lieu of pulling it ENTIRELY out, u can pull 1 end out far enough past the deck & access the sender. It will probably require loosening one side of the tank's hardware & completely unfastening the end you pull out into the cockpit.

RE: How to remove ballast senders?
Thanks for the idea, I'll try that! The tanks might get stuck because they wrap around the sides of the back seat (the tanks wrap completely to the front of the rear seat), but it would be cool if it worked!Jeff
