accessory/shower wire in a 06' 210

Has anyone found the accessory/shower wire in a 06' 210? I have been looking off and on for a month and I still haven't found it.

That's no longer offered since the carbon monoxide poisoning is such a problem. Probably could be wired to an accessory switch though.

I had read the same thing. CC no longer supporting shower
due to liability concerns over Carbon Monoxide. All showers
are aftermarket now.

Is there wiring for the accessory switch somewhere? I know all about the shower issue but I still think there are wires for the accessory switch since the light works on the dash. I remember on my old boat they had a resistor on the end of the heater wires before I cut it off and put a heater in myself.

I think part of what I "heard" was that they were eliminating any wiring back to the stern to "prevent" anyone from retrofitting a shower. This won't stop a DIYer who wants a shower, but for the average joe it might scare them off a bit. You should be able to runn whatever you need to the back, from the dash yourself.

imho, many such lawsuits are absurd; & i have a good friend who is a reputable liability lawyer. No accounting for taste!

Showers are a waste anyways! I'll take mine off my boat if anyone wants to buy it.

They eliminated the wiring? If they are that concerned about liability, you'd think they'd eliminate the button altogether -- make it another accessory switch, perhaps.

I can understand the decision to quit installing showers at the factory, but I would think that their liability would stop at that point.

CHassman, from being from Ohio you should be one to support this shower issue. Theres nothing better to warm up a wet suit then a shower in early April.

They did. For 2006 the button is marked 12 volt.

CO is one of the reasons that I don't like to use my shower either. I don't blame CC for getting rid of them.

Well, I am 99% sure I saw a picture of a 2006 with a keypad that had the 12 volt marking on the old shower button, but I can't find the picture now. I hope I'm not making that up.

Well, I don't consider this definitive proof since CC has been known to post bogus pix and/or change design mid-stream, but the CC site has a dash picture that I swear looks like the shower switch.

Check the 3rd button closest to the edge. I pulled the pic off the 220 on the website. Still, I realize could be incorrect and they've replaced it with a generic button.
