Alternator for Python

Has anyone upgraded their alternator on the Python.

It seems that PCM has not run any test on the upgrade for the Python. If you have successfully upgraded your Alternator can you please let me know who you used to build all necessary parts.

Please post anything you find out about this, as I'm looking into an upgrade as well. I've seen a couple of people who just send their alt. out to rebuild shop, and they can upgrade the output. I think then you would need to upgrade the breakers/fuses in the boat wiring harness as well.
What year boat/engine combo? Ours is a 99 PAN.

I've got an 01 Super Air.

I actually have a dealer looking into it and PCM may try to test an option, but I wanted to get as many options as possible.

I've recently bought a few new stereo components and am very confident that I will need an upgraded alternator to keep up with it all.

As soon as I get some info I will post it on here.
