Jabsco ballast puppy plumbing/fitting

This winter I purchased 2 ballast puppy's for building my ballast system. I am now gathering all the parts i need for the system.

But since I live in the Netherlands I have a really hard time finding the fittings that go into the head of the pump to connect the hose to.

Since the thread in the head of the pump is NTP it is impossible to find the correct fittings for it as NTP is not supported in the Netherlands.

Even the company that sold me the pumps is not able to arrange these parts for me, their advice was to just attach the hose with a hoseclamp.

I am looking for the following fitting : Pipe - 1/2" NPT - Hose ID 3/4" Straight

Does anybody know where I can find these online and have them shipped to me for a reasonable price ? I tried westmarine.com but for an order of 25 $ they charge 35 $ shipping costs.

You should just buy tubing that fits over the fitting on the pump and use a standard hose clamp. That fitting you have pictured will restrict the waterflow and make your pumps operate slower. It's quicker and easier to just use bigger tubing and clamp it. I have three jabsco's set up this way, no leaks, no problems.

But then you would have to use 1' tubing. I have ordered the new fly high sacks and I dont know the size of the fittings on those ? (v drive set).

Not sure about those exact sacs. The tubing for most sacs is standard and should be 1". The blue waterbed fittings are made for 1" tubing. Larger tubing equals less restriction, better water flow and less fill/unfill time.

Fly high makes a 1" fitting for your sacks. Go to http://www.barefootinternational.com/fatsac.htm and scroll down to the bottom of the page. You need the W738 fitting.

Just stay consistent on the inside diameter and you should be fine

Ok..thanks for all the advice. I will skip the fittings and just mount the hose directly on to the pumps. Then the inside diameter will be 1" from pump to sac.
