I was re-powder coatong my window and these Air vents looked easy to make so I made them, in Carbon Fiber. I also decided to drop some Wakespecialty's LED's into the Air vent's

Looks great, Grant!! I know you did some work with the "glovebox" cover a while back in order to incorporate the LCD monitors but your pic above got me thinking. Is your new glovebox door lighter than the heavy one that came stock? One thing I HATE is how that door slams down, regardless of the shock I have installed. It's slammed on my thumb (lost that thumbnail) and I always have to warn people who put things in there to be careful. I'd love to replace it with a lightweight door.'08 Super Air Nautique 210

Joe; My Carbon Fiber glove box is just as heavy as the orignal. I dont feel guilty standing on it when Im cleaning my tower. LOL. You can see how I did it here http://svtsupercharged.com/gallery/album15. I love how solid and Heavy it is, But yes I hate the slaming also. You could always install a actuator that would open and close the glove box with the touch of a button. That way it would never slam closed again.

Oh well. It was worth a try!
One other thing that sprang to mind with respect to your LEDs, which look great by the way! If I wanted to stick some LEDs in my rear vents and maybe the fronts, where are you turning yours on? Did you tie them into the interior lights switch or do you have them on another button somewhere?'08 Super Air Nautique 210

Yea I was thinking of having them on a diffrent switch. Im guessing your wondering like me about have the Lake police busting you for have them like Nav light's. No I dont have them on a sepperate switch. My boat has so much RED light busting out of it its hard to navagate at night with them on so 99% of the time I have them off when Im moving at night. In more worried about the LED lights in the tower grills then the vent light's. And I dont want to have all these switch's for diffrent light's IMO one switch and its time to rock it. LOL

Grant,
Looking good as always, although I wish you would stop. My wish list / project list is getting bigger instead of smaller this winter. I think I will run the LED accent lighting on the interior light switch so it all comes on at once, I can always add another switch later or put in a bypass (off) switch later.

Grant - let us know part numbers/kits etc - well, what to order from wakespecialty for the vents. Doing LED's on my boat this winter and would love to know how many, etc.
Thanks - carbon looks great! (Haven't measured the seats yet - can't wait to start on that though)The person who said \"Money can\'t buy happiness\" never rode behind an \"OLD\" 210.

Plus My boat is located in my nice Well lit insulated garage makeing project's easy to do. Im telling you when you have your boat with in arms reach and its cold and wet outside it makes working ou your boat a joy. The last project's I did were just because I was board and needed somthing to do and sitting on the coutch watching football was not a option . LOL
