Anybody use a Packless Shaft Seal?

I'm just curious how many of you guys have made the conversion?......Is it worth the money?......Any installation problems?....Any problems after the install?....Any thoughts on the long term durability?

Any opinions or first hand knowledge is appreciated . thanks.

When ordering my boat MD just added it in the package along with almost verything else - no issues. Best I can give you. Maybe you should ask if people have had issues not having the packless seal?

Just looking for someone who has installed one themself .....usually somebody can offer the best advice from their personal experience. The boat has always had a regular stuffing box seal. Just gets old re- packing it and thought it be a solid upgrade for my boat.
