Heater gets used nearly everytime we get in the boat. Seems somehow the wife can get cold even when its 90 degrees outside. Shower has been used twice in the 4 years I've owned this boat. Both times for January wake/ski runs. BKH

AN fittings are high pressure fittings used in racing. They are usually quick release and can stand up to hot water, oil, etc. They are more expensive than quick disconnect fittings some use on their heater hose but don't leak and don't restrict the water flow. Check out this link:

Skisix, I'm heading out right now to get the 206 ready. I'm thinking of supercharging it to firm up the pull.

I think that my other source was thinking mainly about warming up a wetsuit. We use a wetsuit or barefoot suit quite a bit. Last year the central Indiana boating season wasn't the best....so we were in wetsuits or shorty's very often.
But I am starting to lean more towards a heater. Anybody out there have an idea about the typical cost to have someone install a heater???? I have a 99 Sport.88 Ski Nautique

I have both, and for those of us who ski when the water is cold (46 degrees at the Delta in February) - there is nothing better than a full wetsuit filled with warm water standing on the swim platform just prior to jumping in. Just keep the head above water!'01 Ski Nautique

Skijones,
Perhaps you are right for the driver, but I disagree for passengers. My passengers,
sitting in the observers seat throw a blanket across them, grab the passengers heater
tube, put it under the blanket, and get a nice toasty ride. BKH2001 Super Air

Johnson,
Funny, most guys I know in the Delta seem to fill their wetsuits with warm liquid whether
they have a shower or not Yellow_Flash_Colorz: BKH2001 Super Air

My (biased) vote is for the heater. I haven't ever owned or used a shower. When I bought my new SAN I didn't want to cough up the $$ for the shower option. I think it would be nice to warm up my life jacket or wet suit prior to putting on, but not enough to warrant the $$$. I absolutely love the heater and will NEVER own a boat without one though.
