    RE: 2" ball

If it has a 3/4" shaft it takes a 1-1/8", if it is a 1" shaft it takes a 1-1/2" socket

It depends. There are 3: 3/4"' 1" and 1 1/4. the 1" is rated for 6000 lbs the 3/4 3500# and the 1 1/4" 8000# The new Trailer Boats Mag has a pull out section on trailer towing probaby worth the 3.50 newsstand price.

I use a different drop hitch to tow our seadoo trailer and I'm tired of useing a pipe wrench to switch them out, so I'll just stop over at Sears and take it in to make sure. Or maybe I should'nt be so cheap and just buy another ball :o

        Thanks guys

Try a rapid hitch and your worries will go away.
