    I had mine painted four years ago. I had SWCC strip the old stripes and paint a solid black one. see my album for a picture. From 1982-84 they were painted stripes any way!! They used Rustoleum of all things.

        My $.02 is powdercoat the tower. I dont' think anything else will holdup as well.

          I painted a Wellcraft center console fishing boat 25 years ago and used it in Chesapeake Bay (Salt Water). I primed it with Corlar???? and finished with Imron. Several years later I found out Awgrip was the equilivant marine application. Have it professionally sprayed, the results are great. Don't shy away from paint, some of the big companies (like Hatteras yachts I believe) use gelcoat and finish with a polyurethane paint.

            hey andrew it for filling in cracks and paint its was like 5k not sure got one estimate to do carpet, paint, vinyl, the works whole thing was 11k. good luck on getting yours done

              if theres problems leaving paint in the water why not paint above the water line and sand and polish below?
