2001 Super Air Nautique engine hours

Hi everyone, I'm looking at purchasing a 2001 Super Air Nautique from a dealer in Richmond BC. I'm told the boat has 302 hrs on it and judging by the near showroom condition I don't doubt that the hours are low. The thing is that the LCD speedo/tach have been replaced so am curious if the true hours can be scanned from the Pro Boss GT40 or not? I've heard that the original LCD display failed frequently.

    Thanks!

If boat has perfect pass hours would be stored there as well. GT40 cannot be scanned for hours.

Hopefully price is CAD, if USD would be high IMO.

From the pics it looks nice, top gauge just below the throttle might be the PP basic cruise? Not sure if that PP holds hours and is retrievable, PP would be able to answer, all that is assuming the old brain did not get tossed with the Stargazer upgrade. Good Luck

Yep no way to know hours but that boat is clean!! Have them do a compression check for a little reassurance. It looks like the only time it was out of the garage was for those 300hrs.

Ok! So I talked with the dealer and the boat originally came from a Sacramento CA dealer a few years back. There are records proving the dud gauges were replaced at 200hrs and the analog shows 102hrs. Im pretty happy with that finding and given the near showroom condition I think that is fairly accurate. I talked the dealer down to 27000.00 CAD and considering the new pro series stargazer PP, that adds a bit of value also IMO. I am going to take it out next Monday for a test drive, hopefully it drives as good as it looks!

Congratulations, great find! I'm jealous that you can drop her in the water already 😊
