        Roddbod,

I ordered it from my dealer when i had my oil changed last, Buxton Marine in Lewisville, Mr. Buxton said i needed it if i was running in the brazos and he said i could probably install it. They just sent it to me and i want to get it in before spring boarding starts.

        Scottrob,

        Pictures would be great! thanks

jonbassham - When I ordered my 06 210 I added the fresh water flush option due to the brazos as well, and to help out with maintance. I'll take pictures this weekend and post them for you.

What part of the river do you ride?

              I think $89.99... right under $100.

                  ryan,

Thanks man... those pictures are great... that doesn't look hard at all!

When at school, I ride just north of Waco off MLK blvd. I go to Baylor. When at home, I ride on Grapevine lake.

                  How about you?

                      Scott,

Thannks for the pics... that is exactly what mine looks like.

What is your routine when flushing it out... just hook up the water and idle it for a few minutes?

                        Actually,

You want to start your engine first and immediately then turn on the water (all the way on). If you start water first with any real pressure, you can blow your seals.

The dealer told me that you want to flush for like 20 min.

Then, turn water off before you turn off your engine.

                          Scottrob,
That is called a flushpro. RyanE's setup is what comes from the factory. I had a flushpro on my Avalanche. I didnt really care for it because it took more time to hook up the hose than it did to just use a fake-a-lake. Good luck with the install.

RyanE - Can you give me some more information on your system. Do you have the closed cooling system on your boat. Im looing to install on my boat as well but want a little more information first. Thanks.

                            Roddbod,

Hmmm - well, I have not had much effort to get in the boat with the hose and screw it in. Start it up and tell the kids to turn on the water.

What was the hang up? Also - how do you do a fake lake? That sounds more involved.

                              Scottrob,
Mine was in an avalanche which has a much deeper engione compartment and the SAN's. That is what made it a lot harder to hookup.
A fake-a-lake hooks up to your hose and you have to crawl under the boat and put it where the water pickup is. Basically its a plunger with a hose attached to it and a handle that expands to the ground so you can keep it up against the hull. Either works well. I just didnt like the flush pro. I was also on skidim.com com and their flush pros were much less. $57.95.
