How to fold tower 2015

I turned the knobs on both sides to unlock and the tower won't budge. Any ideas ? Is it because it's so cold?

Yes pushing forward with both knobs in unlock position. Should i push real hard? Ive pushed pretty hard with no budge.

Should be super easy. Most can easily be lowered with one hand.

Only thing I can think of is that possibly the factory set the preload tension incorrectly. This is set differently depending on the accessories ordered on the tower.

I'm headed down next weekend and will try different things

On mine, the shocks don't seem to come into play until the tower is tilted +/-10-15 degrees. After I unlock the handles, it'll move forward that far with no resistance....just a slight push on the tower. Then it hits the shocks and I have to pull it down a little until the weight of the tower overcomes the shocks. If yours takes effort to move off the full-upright position, I think there is something wrong other than a shock issue.

Tried again to unlock both sides and no way is the tower coming down. I'm gonna try "resetting the latch" by going up and down while its pulled out . Otherwise it will be heading back to dealer. Very strange

Are you turning the knob or just pulling it out?

When you pull out the release handles and turn them all the way to unlock, the tower will feel loose, i.e. you can rock it back and forth and see that it is no longer tight. If you unlock the handles and your tower does not at least feel loose or clearly move more than when the handles were locked, then perhaps your lock handles are loose and not turning the locking pins. You can just see the opines when the handles are pulled out. Make sure they turn when you rotate the handles and that the handles are not spinning on the pins.

Also, if the boat is angled with the front higher, it will take more effort. But you have to be at a fairly steep angle before the tower weight would be problematic.

It's stuck . I'm gonna have to bring it back to dealer after summer. I've tried everything
