low speed captivation?

I took the san out this past week, loaded up around 2000pds and noticed a harsh vibration from 5mph to 15mph? then it disapears once it reaches boarding speeds. Drives fine, holds speeds fine, just from take off to whatever it feels like a bad prop or something? Any ideas? What do I look for first? could it be a out of balanced shaft? shaft holder? gunk stuck to the bottom of the boat from sitting outside in the water for 3 weeks?

what could it be? whats with the surfing shot, I didnt know you were goofy? maybe you guys can come over to my lake to wakesurf with us, take a day off of Murray's humor and drive over. Its only twenty minutes away.

Do you feel it in the steering wheel? My boat did that in a very slight manner, and when I changed to the 644 Acme prop, it was gone. It only did it on takeoff when the boat was heavily loaded, but it doesn't do it at all now. Which prop is on your boat, and which engine?

I'm not goofy, but the prop rotation makes the surf wake better on that side, so I surf goofy. That picture was taken the second time I ever surfed. Oddly enough, the first time was at Murray's. It must be nice to have the 'endless summer' of Orlando. Wish I was there now.

What year is your SAN? You're strut bearing may be wearing. You might also need to align the shaft. Any hits on your prop?

644 prop on a gt40. It clears up at speed, never noticed it when we surf though? load 1200 pds on the starboard side, ride at 9-9.8 miles per depending on rider. I will pull the boat out this weekend and look at the prop, shaft etc. it may be damaged from sitting in the sand all week, and getting pounded by the rollers?
