Does anybody know if the 2014 & up 210's will accept the 1235 prop (or a 14.5" dia prop)? What is the stock prop on a Team Edition 210 for 2015?

Thats a full inch in diameter. I am not familiar with the transmissions in new boats (I know there was a two speed set up at one time) but I would think you might lose a tad bit of top end (although not significant). The 14.5" diameter might have the effect of more torque.... Just my .02

check the the clearance from the tip of the prop to the hull if less than 3/4" your cutting it close and might risk prop burn. Unless they have changed the angle or length of the shaft to give more clearance then 13.5 is stock on 201's. Might get a way from a 14.5" might not you will have to measure.

The confusing part is that some people are getting their boats delivered with the 1579 (13.5 inch) and some are being delivered with the 1235 (14.5 inch). It seems that if you order with the pro ballast you get the smaller prop. Does this realistically make sense?

Only GCSsuper has the 1235, and he did not claim it was stock. So i'm not sure anything changed.
Perhaps somebody with a 14 or 15 210 could snap a picture or measure prop clearance? I'd love to know whether Nautique changed anything about strut and prop shaft.

I am still under the impression even with the hull tweak the 1235 still has the same clearance issues of gel burn as the 07-13 boats.
The 1579/1465 is the "team prop" which is an upgrade.
The mack daddy slam you boat boat prop from Acme for the 210 with the 343 is the ACME 1617 4 Blade 14" x 13.75" Propeller
I run my 08 with the 1579/1465. I run factory plus piggy back locker sac, piggy back 600's filled about halfway in rear, and 200lbs of pop bags stuffed in nose at 24.5mph. It gets out of the hole with no issue. If I didn't still slalom I would definitely appreciate the 1617 but at ski speeds I would turn a little to high rpm's and suck fuel. I find myself picking up slalom stick more and more these days.
As far as surf.
I run same weight only fill surf side piggy back 600 fully and empty the non surf side completely. Hole shot for surf give me everything I need. No lagging or struggling.
If I was still just boarding and surfing in my opinion I would go 1617 for sure. There is a huge hole shot difference in the wakeboarding aspect. FWIW I called all the "prop guys" and if anyone has an old 1235 from a previous boat they can modify it for around 100 and change and take off little of the diameter and turn it into 14 propLast edited by swatguy; 05-19-2015, 07:14 PM.

It seems as though we don't have a "consensus" as to what is the "stock" prop for the pro ballast option. I've seen and heard different things from people regarding the 1235 on the new 210's.
FWIW, I used to ride quite a bit on a friend's '08 210 w/Fly hi setup (rear piggy back, ski locker tube sack & integrated bow ballast), and the difference in performance between the 1235 and the 1579 was ALOT. The 1235 would pull the loaded boat out of the hole no problem, the 1579 took a loooong time to get on plane, and made the 343 seem like not enough engine.
