    Sending units on hard tanks

Does the 2013 210 team have sender units in the factory hard tanks to show ballast levels. Someone told me that the levels that show on the linc 2 screen are calculated from how long the pump runs.

I was also told that the fill levels are determined by how long the pumps have been running, but my G has bags, not hard tanks.

Surely they would have senders in the hard tanks.i can see at the top of the belly tank a unit that is screwed into the top with a wire coming out of it.

Its both, they have sending units that check the levels but they only do it once then guess at the levels after that based on run time, if you want it to be accurate again you have to shut the whole linc system down and restart it.

I use to be concerned about the hard tank sending units on my 2010 230 but 90% of the time we ran them full so it became a non-issue. The adjustment became more about how the boat was loaded and adjusting the tanks for wake performance. After that the gauges were just a general guide.
