Is the Raw Water Pump positioned correctly in the attached picture (i.e. drain plug on side facing the outer wall of boat)? (Thanks)

Nope (and it's not a drain plug)

That doesn't answer the question. So it's a "screw installed on the side of the pump housing" - not a drain plug: "NS". So which way does the pump get installed: with that screw facing toward the boat wall or toward the middle of the boat?
