Red Check Engine Light on - 2008 196

I have a new to me 2008 196 with the EX343. The red engine warning light is on, no audible alarm. Oil pressure is good, the temps are low (need thermostat). Any ideas what could be causing the light to stay on? I've run it for a couple hours, and several sets. Everything seems fine.
