211 Heat and sound barrier

There is a hanging heat/sound barrier between engine compartment and cockpit. Mine has given up the ghost and started crumbling and leaving crap in the bilge. No longer available from factory. Anyone had to replace this? Anyone left it out? Looking at alternatives, and not coming up with a lot of options other than sticking some dynamat to a sheet of rubber.

Dynamat was going to be my replacement when I get tired of pulling it back up in between the ski pylon and the wall. I looked for some alternatives at McMaster and a few other places, but it seems to end up to be just as costly. The aluminum coating on the dynamat should be better at not absorbing oil/fluids too, so it is a bonus in that regard too.
