LINC System Problem

And so it begins... I love the LINC on my 2010 SN200 but this spring it has decided to flake-out on me. I took the boat to my dealer (no longer a Nautique dealer but great guys) to get ready for the season and they called to say that my LINC only comes up with a white screen when powered up. They are trying to get it serviced at the manufacture but I checked NautiqueParts and see that they are $4586 for a replacement (I hope our discount works on electronics).

Has anyone seen this problem or have any suggestions? I'll be honest that, as I expect to keep this boat for a long time, I am very worried about mainance of the electronics.

I'd call zero off. Mine is out of warranty, last year I tried to do a software upgrade that failed and bricked the device. They had me send it to them they fixed it at no charge.

Did you ever get this resolved? what was the fix? Also To any members with the original first gen linc systems, Are there any known issues with the first linc?
I am looking at a 2010 with the linc in it and was real curious about issues with it and stuff like that seeing that its getting past the 6 year mark on them Im wondering how well they are holding up? and anything I should be worried about if I buy a boat with this 1st gen line system in it? other than the fact you can't hook nss up to it are there any other issues, concerns, problems? Thanks in advance.
