Anybody have a way to connect the oil drain hose to an electric pump?

Last week I drained the oil from my 2002 196. I do this while my boat is on a lift at the dock, so the whole idea about feeding it down and out thru the hull is worthless. I used a Topsider with the little hose threaded into the boat's quick drain hose and manually sucked it out. Can someone give me the dimensions to construct a connector hose, which I can screw into the boat's hose and then connect to my new electric drain pump............I feel like it takes too long to thread a smaller hose into the boat's hose and push it in far enough to reach the pan! Thank you

I have a clear hose with white thread reinforcing the fits perfectly over the threads, tight enough that I can suck it out with a drill pump. Put tape around it the first couple times to prevent a loss in suction....tried without the tape and it works just as good so I no longer use the tape

      Dino,
Can you send some pictures of your clear hose and white threaded section?

I bought a FNPT to hose barb swivel adapter and a stainless steel hose clamp. I can't remember the exact thread size for the drain fitting and the hose barb size will depend on your drain pump hose size. This will allow you to thread right on to the end of the drain hose

Sounds like mine is similar to above. See pic. Just go to end of drain hose. Oil change is about 20 minutes.
