    Leaking ballast tank?

I've got an 02 Air and at the end of last season I began noticing that the carpet at the extreme rear driver side of the boat was wet after using the ballast tanks. I'm assuming I've got some sort of leak in the system, how much should I be concerned and is this a difficult problem to fix?

    RE: Leaking ballast tank?

    Huffy,

If you can look at the tank, check the vent line. It comes off at with a 90 elbow and can come unglued from the tank. As a result it spits water out the vent when you have them full, but also is spitting water in the back of the boat. Kinda a pain to reglue it and seal it without taking the rear seat back out. May even have to remove the tank.

At least that is what happened on mine. Luckily mine was warranty, so the dealer got to have the fun!
