Throttle Assembly swap

I have to change out my throttle assembly and I am hoping someone on here has already done one. Any tips or advice would be awesome. Also does anyone know if you need to rig the throttle cables afterwards or if you can just disconnect them and then reconnect them after. Thanks in advance
