so iv'e been following the above thread about a members knock sensor troubles on a 5.7 excaliber like i have. over the winter i changed out my knock sensor with a new one from nautique parts simply because the cap end had broken off that holds the wire on, the sensor itself was fine. went out on day 1 and no problem, but halfway through day 2 i got the "knock sensor see dealer" error code.
so would just changing the knock sensor out, in and of itself, throw the code requiring it to be cleared by diacom? i was running last years gas out, but it ran great and the fuel was properly stabilized?
